Smartproxy Proxy Networks
The main products of Smartproxy are static residential IP proxy and dynamic residential IP proxy. You can choose from static residential IP proxy or dynamic residential IP proxy. Both allow you to access large ip pools through gateway servers.
It is worth noting that smartProxy's static residential IP proxy is almost always of native IP quality.
A large pool of IPs from real people’s devices.
residential proxies is Smartproxy’s flagship service made for accessing strict websites. It comprises a pool of 40 million monthly IPs borrowed from real people’s devices. To give you some context, this is among the larger proxy networks on the market, at least looking at advertised numbers.
The service supports granular filtering options: you can get IPs from any country, state, or city. The rotation options include not only every connection request but also 1, 10, and 30 minute thresholds. It’s convenient compared to services like PacketStream, where your only option for sticky sessions is to keep the same IP as long as it remains available.
As is often the case with residential proxies, the service is limited only by your traffic allowance. As long as you have some, you can make as many connection requests as you like. Missing are SOCKS5 support and ASN targeting, but these proxies should be more than enough for most tasks.
Format: Pay as you go, monthly subscription Starting price: $2.17 for 1 GB
Model: Traffic allowance Upsells: More sub-users / whitelisted IPs
Smartproxy's residential agent used to have the lowest starting price of the three agent networks, now you can pay on demand. It's cheaper than providers like PacketStream, and it totally beats most high-end and mid-range alternatives.
As a result, these residential ip's are a viable option for smaller projects that require a quality address.
To avoid getting stuck between different pricing tiers, Smartproxy allows each plan to be topped up at the same per-GB rate. This is limited to 80% of the plan's value, at which point it makes sense to buy a larger plan.
Agents are also a solid choice for large projects. Smartproxy scales up to hundreds of gigabytes very competitively, and some advanced options can't even keep up with a terabyte of data.
Avg. success rate: 99.47% Factual pool size: Very large
Avg. response time: 0.61 s % of residential IPs: over 95%
The last time we tested Smartproxy's residential agents was in February 2023, when we conducted our annual Agency market study with results from the country Gateway in early spring.
They are among the best performers in terms of pool size, success rate and response time. In terms of overall performance, they are comparable to Bright Data and Oxylabs, which are top tier vendors.
Throughout the testing period, we received a large number of unique ip addresses using global gateways and country-specific pools. For example, 300,000 connection requests through the US gateway gave us over 160,000 addresses, while providers like IPRoyal or RSocks only had about 10,000 addresses. Even in places like Canada and Australia, we've managed to get over 18,000 ips, while many others have managed to scrape together a few thousand.
When testing the agent infrastructure, we successfully connected more than 99% of the time. Its response time is several times shorter than most of its mid-range and cheaper competitors.
The results translate well to real-world targets such as Google and Amazon: Smartproxy maintains a 96% success rate and has very fast response times.
